THE LOCATION and THE VENUE

Latvia is a small country on the edge of Baltic Sea and is considered to be the Pearl of the Baltics.

Its landscape is marked by wide beaches as well as dense, sprawling forests. Latvia’s capital is Riga, home to notable wooden and world renowned art nouveau architecture.

Field upon field of green countryside dotted only by the occasional centuries - old farmstead. Winding trails snaking through thick forests of pine scattered with wild mushrooms and berry bushes. Gentle waves lapping pristine sandy beaches.

The image of a true Latvian landscape is one that is best enjoyed slowly and savoured.

Our Latvian venue is located within the Slitere National Park called Mazirbe, offering a collection of cosy Guest Houses, that will provide every comfort during your stay with our experienced team from Family Oasis at hand and on site.

The Slitere National Park is located on the Northern Kurzeme peninsula washed by the Baltic Sea.

The park is known for its incredibly beautiful vista - courtesy of the sea, broadleaf forests, bogs, wetlands, boreal forests, and swamps.

During your stay in Mazirbe you will surrender to the charms of the Baltic Sea and the Kurzeme seaside. The surroundings of our retreat are perfect for taking a stroll as beautiful scenery awaits you in every direction – sea, forests, and uninhibited nature. There are several well - kept and marked trails in the Slītere National Park and its surrounding areas. Each trail has something unique to offer!

Mazirbe beach offers you a respite from the city crowd. It is a place where you can bask in the sun on an empty beach or simply take a walk. If you are an adventure seeker, you will have the amazing opportunity to engage in search of amber or partake in the invigorating use of stand-up paddle boards.

WHICH IS THE CLOSEST AIRPORT?

Riga (RIX) international airport is roughly a 2 hour journey from our retreat venue.

All our guests will be joining the same transfer in the afternoon of 28th August.

WHAT ABOUT THE AGE OF MY CHILD(REN)?

This retreat is suitable for Mother's with children at age 3 plus

HOW MUCH IS THE RETREAT AND WHAT'S THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

The price of 2920 Euros includes fully inclusive retreat package for a mother and one child.

Your family will be staying in one of our 8 bedrooms split between four Guest houses, every house offers two bedrooms ( each with double bed and extra single bed or sofa bed), lounge area, bathroom and little kitchen.

Extras:

EUR 650 for an adult friend or a family member
EUR 300 for an additional child

EUR 350 for a 1:1 childcare, if your child is under 3 years of age

You can pay in full when booking (we accept all the major credit cards) or alternatively you can choose an option to pay in 6 monthly instalments by credit or debit card, with first payment due today.

And the last option is to pay by the bank transfer. Please note that a deposit of 50% will be payable upon booking in case you choose a manual payment option and we will issue you an invoice (it is possible to pay in EUR, GBP or USD - please drop us a note).

The balance 50% will need to be paid 10 weeks before a retreat start day, which is no later than June 19th 2023.

We are glad to offer you a room sharing option for this retreat:

Share the room with another mum known to you and pay EUR 1900 each ( EUR 3800 per room if two mothers and two children sharing). Please contact us for more info.
